About me

Assuring Educated Decisions

Since 2017, I have been dedicated to continuous education related to my field. With constant changes in Healthcare/ Medicare  you deserve to be in the hands of an agent who is knowledgeable of your multiple benefit options. As it is most important that YOU are making an educated decision based off of YOUR particular need.

Ask me about:

  • Medicare Supplement
  • Medicare Advantage
  • Dual Special Needs (Medicare/Medicaid)
  • Prescription Drug Plans ...and more

Assessing Need

I understand the importance in gaining a full understanding of the coverage options before you make a decision. I offer close one on one consultations designed to make sure all of your needs are covered and your expectations are met.

Getting You Covered

As a independent agent who represents a variety of the top most trusted carriers, I am also able to enroll you in the plan of your choice. Upon doing so I will be with you every step of the way going forward. Should any questions or concerns ever arise, I am just a phone call or email away.  There is never no cost to you for my services.

Medicare Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@barragencyquotes.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

In general, Part A covers:

  • Inpatient care in a hospital
  • Skilled nursing facility care
  • Nursing home care (inpatient care in a skilled nursing facility that’s not custodial or long-term care)
  • Hospice care
  • Home health care

Note: If you're in a Medicare Advantage Plan or other Medicare plan, your plan may have different rules. But, your plan must give you at least the same coverage as Original Medicare. Some services may only be covered in certain settings or for patients with certain conditions.

Part B covers 2 types of services

  • Medically necessary services: Services or supplies that are needed to diagnose or treat your medical condition and that meet accepted standards of medical practice.

Preventive services: Health care to prevent illness (like the flu) or detect it at an early stage, when treatment is most likely to work best.

Part B covers things like:

  • Clinical research
  • Ambulance services
  • Durable medical equipment (DME)
  • Mental health
    • Inpatient
    • Outpatient
    • Partial hospitalization
  • Limited outpatient prescription drugs

Medicare Advantage plans (also known as Medicare Part C) are offered through private insurance companies as an alternative to Original Medicare. These plans bundle Medicare Parts A and B into a single plan and typically also include Part D drug coverage. Plans with dental, vision, and/or hearing coverage are also available.

Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage purchased through private insurance companies. It can be used in conjunction with Original Medicare, but not with a Medicare Advantage plan that already includes drug coverage.

Medicare, is a federal program that provides health benefits for people over age 65, one can also qualify younger than 65 if they have certain disabilities for at least 24months.

Medicaid, is a program managed by the state. Medicaid provides health benefits for people with low income, but the rules to qualify varies from state to state.

It is possible to be eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. If so, you could be eligible for more benefits at no cost to you.

A Dual Special Needs Plan also referred to as D-SNP is a type of Medicare Advantage Plan for people who have both Medicare and Medicaid. With a D-SNP plan you could get many extra benefits than Original Medicare at no extra cost to you.

  • Dental care, plus credit for restorative work
  • Hearing exams, plus credit for hearing devices
  • Eye exams, plus credit for eyewear
  • Credits to buy hundreds of health-related products
  • Rides to health care visits and the pharmacy

A Chronic Special Needs Plan also referred to as C-SNP is a type of Medicare Advantage Plan for people who has one or more chronic conditions, including diabetes, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), lung conditions or some forms of heart disease.
